I have noticed this with several Avon RIBs - all bright blue. There was one in Guernsey in a hell of a state. I was worried because my RIB is virtually the same colour but they don't seem to bother around here - maybe seagulls in South Wales are colour blind???

You could have a point there I launched at loe today and come to think of it there was a blue rib in a similar state looking unwanted on a mooring . My daughter asked if it was any Good ?

maybe the shit just shows up on the blue colour and blue is popular for covers Bimini's etc but they all seemed to be very shat upon .

Blame the Emmets for feeding the shitehawks

Looe is Shitehawk grand central! They are the most hostile I've ever come across, we had fish and chips there last year and had to eat them in the car as they were attacking us. We then had to drive off as they were going loopy on the sunroof looking at the F&C's!!

Thats where they should be following a trawler out at sea ,
problem is they are actually snatching food from your hand primarily because the Emmets feed them . The local council has even put up notices asking people not to feed the dam things . Same problem with the ponies up here on the Moors .

As mollers said eating fish and chips in Loe now has to be done undercover .

It's just the same by the Thames in Reading - where one of the parks meets the river bank there's a big problem with guano from ducks and geese. And their output is much worse than gulls! Anyway, there's a sign telling people not to feed these fowl, and people stand in front of the sign doing exectly that. What can you do? Answers on a postcard!
