I like the one with 'Ray Mears' in the foreground, Fragglerock in the background and Debbie clenching her butt-cheeks in the middle!

Shame I missed you all on the Monday. Wife wanted a 'land' day so was at Flambards.
Glad to meet up with a few of you though. Had a great week. Just got a small problem to sort out now we are home, the oil warning is going off and theres plenty of oil in the tank???
Tim.

what an absolutely fab two weeks in cornwall, fantastic weather and sea conditions and met up with loads of the crowd. some great times.
loads of us ended up at pentewan sands and is a great place for the boat so thoroughly recommend it to others thinking of cornwall for a break.

Ditto all of the above , not sure about Pentewan and boats though. Too much waiting around, too time restrictive (in 10am-out6pm) and not cheap at £11 a launch. Alternatively, stay in the Fal area and leave your boat in one of the marinas for the week. Now that's cool, a lot like Jazz

Hugh - it was great to have you down - showing us poor old cornish Ribnobbers how to RIB properly "solent style"
I also agree about the Pentewan setup - it was great for a change but certainly wouldnt put up with that as the norm.
For £11 a day you can leave your boat in the visitors berth at Mylor marina for the week and come and go as you please any time of day or night - there is fuel on the marina and a chandlers on site etc etc etc...

funnily enough i agree with you both, next time i am down there i will stay in the fal area on one of the gentry's estate we happened to befriend at the posh end of town and will put the boat in and keep on a mooring so can get out and in more and have more freedom.
pentewan is great for campers who want close to the beach and a nice campsite with good facilities, a pool for the kids and kids clubs and clubhouse etc etc and you can take the boat out too...
are you guys going to pilwilly with brad, myself and the ladies?, we are having a kids free weekend!

We had a great time too - would stay in Pentewan again, but a shame about the launch timings being a bit restrictive. Decent guy on the tractor though - shame they didn't have another one or two more on site.
A mooring is always the best option when away for a few days and Mylor does have a great slipway.
Roy,Alice & co: If we were to do a similar trip in the future, are there campsites near Mylor which you would recommend?

Hi guys,
Just for reference, I left Okada in Mevagissy and was only charged £7 per night. 24hr -ish access. Tracey would not drive down the quayside to meet me though. She would park up and I would have to drive down the quay.
10 till 6 excl queues for the tractor launch was a bit of a pita. Mev was much easier boat wise but the tender should have been a bit bigger.
As regards the dodgy oil, haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but need to soon, I'm off to Boulogne on Sat.
Tim.

Yeah a friend runs one about a mile away, it's a tiny, one field affair.

I don't do kids free weekends - so I guess not. My kids happened to also be my best mates so wouldn't dream of going anywhere without them.
North wales is a bit far to tow the boat anyway especially seeing as ill be going 329 miles in the oposite direction of the best cruising ground in the UK
