I've never launched on the North coast.

Where exactly are you launching from in Hayle?

Hi Bob n Sue
We have a new slip in Hayle currently with free parking and launching, window is 3 hours either side of High Tide, can get a bit busy on the weekends, there is a sand Barr at the estuary mouth which can get nasty when there is a big ground swell running and a westerly wind, I’ve surfed it at 6 foot peeling right hander

St.Ives is near by and the Isles of Scilly is approx. 48 nm

We have 3 large camp sites in Hayle; Barry is staying in Beach side with his boat.

The Bucket Of Blood pub is near by with get ales and fantastic food.

Shell garage on the A30 Hayle roundabout with easy access for boat to refuel.

Let me know if you’re coming down on a weekend and I will try and meet up with you.

Cheers Shaggy
