Welsh tsunami

People didn't quite understand...
As I leapt from the boat I spotted this enormous wave (30-40 foot at least) and I didn't want to waste it so I body surfed in...

Thing is everyone thought I just fell on my face in 1 foot of water...
Missus

Must have been that force 8 that was causing the 30-40ft waves

Well I think it was very brave of you to test the waterproofing of your drysuit in near Arctic conditions. Will you be writing a full report for RIB Int?

Super pics.......

Thanks John and sorry I forgot my own digi.

PIE EATING.....you failed to mention that at the time of the photo Jono was in fact 2 pies ahead

Jackeen.......I raised my score cards with 6.2 for the very stylish half pike she did from the bow of DM's Magnum - a perfect entry one which Jonny Wisemuller would have been proud.

The Wave'.......I now know where he gets his "wind up" skills from, I've never seen a man winch (wind) a boat on a trailer so quick. Perhaps it was because he was half naked and in his underpants at the time (where was your camera then John)?

A Couple of Welders.....Most of the chaps turned up wearing an assortment of light weight, well crafted and expensive head protection gear.........not John and Andy.......they'd been to the local branch of Machine Mart where they'd purchased Welding Visors.........laugh ? My sides are still hurting.

Of course whilst all this was going on David (I wear 2 condoms just to be safe) Manning surveyed the antics whilst reclining on his bench seat smoking a fag (low tar, double filter)

Much fun was had by all except for Phil Davies who was no doubt tucked up in bed nice and warm.

Slippery

Dis anyone notice how slippery the water was at the weekend?

so wish i ws in the med.

Still the med style ribs coped well with the 30-40ft waves and the force 8 gale.

Yes indeed, Meme...one of the reasons I needed to hit the floor so quickly was to avert my eyes from the (slightly shocking) aspect Waver was presenting seawards as he wrestled with the winch.
