boat test extreme

after meeting the ribnet easter run, with paul tony and all the ribsters, nitrox had to leave and head back round to the north coast of angelesy with the ribs international journo onboard, witch lead to some photo shots in some rough water. these photos where taken by steve bright on board blue thunder I THINK IT SHOWS HOW WELL RIBQUESTS GO hope you like neal

Nice photos, and that looks like a challenging sea! Re your Yamaha engine, is that the new one and if so what prop have you got fitted? I have the BETX 300HP, and the 19" prop which is brilliant up to about 42 knots. I think I am then experiencing prop slip. Your views would be appreciated.

Indeed! The boat ran beautifully from where we were Neal. Great pics of a great boat.

Any idea which issue of RI we may be in? When's it out?

hi paul i think the artical my be in august. the pictures were taken at carmel head and south stack on the flooding tide neal

i,m on 19" prop and gets to 47knts loaded with 8 passengers onboard, fuel usage at 27knts 1.2litres per mile, the engine is well worth the cost, really pleased with the performance and it sounds fab neal ps ive had 51knts lightly loaded all speeds of the gps
