Boatmesse 2009
Today we had first "Boatmesse" which we hope will be annually venue. This is intended to be gathering of all SAR teams where they bring their boats and crew as well as other members interested in seeing what is new and then take the boats out for a spin and finish the day with BBQ.
Also number of companies where invited to introduce their products and services, this year RadioRaf ehf. was the only one and I stood the duty.
The agenda of the day was:
HSSK introduced their Stefnir (Parker 900 Baltic ICE-SAR)
Sigurvon introduced their Thorsteinn (Norsafe)
Arborg introduced their SeaDoo PWC they use on whitewater
Landsbjorg (ICE-SAR) introduced the new official dry suit (Ursuit 5020 II)
