Buoys I have seen...
A whole new thread of photographs of Buoys (careful that you do NOT miss out the 'u'), what a brilliant idea (even though I do say so myself).
So, to start us all off, here is a couple of photographs of the 'Buss Bank' buoy in the mouth of the Cromarty Firth...
Keith (oh no, not him again) Hart

This on does not float but is a navigation aid. It's off Eastborne and Hastings.

They seem like a nice couple of buoys.
Those towers always remind me of the old War of the Worlds film.

Take a look here for all the info on the towers.

And yes Robin, they always remind me H.G.Wells Martians as well!!
Cheers,
Andy.

Jesus!!! They look like something out of a Mad Max movie.
Is this where H.G. Wells got his inspiration from???

Keith, although my sea objects are not buoys they are all navigation aids ... and I have seen them all. Do they still count? I am hunting for a very special buoy photo I took in Orkney, you may know which one I mean..... RO. Will post it as soon as I find it in my photobox.

My favourite and most respected buoy so far - The 'Roayal Oak' wreck buoy in Scapa Flow.
