Camel (Got The Hump)

A few pics of the camel we are refurbing at the moment.

Progress so far is -

Steam clean and valet of the tubes
Steam Clean and repaint of the deck and fore deck
Upholstery all being replaced by Mastertrim
Two BIG Bilge Pumps Fitted
Fitting of the Bimini Roof
Full Trailer Service

More progress next week and ready for action July 1st

Nice one. I like the concept of those boats. Shame they don't seem to be liked that much amongst the RIB community..

i have always wanted one of these! i know they are not liked by some but if you took that 130 off and stuck a 150 opti on i reckon it would be good.

theres no doubt the hull is a gooden but maybe the colour and framework is an aquired taste
!

I think a Honda 200hp will be going on the back. With over 500l of built in fuel tank, a bow locker to get 20 illegal immigrants in, some cover from up above
and a frame to put the roof tent on I though it would be a great cruising machine.

will you be fitting self righting bags to the camel , would be quite handy to have them up there on that frame

someone was telling me that the tent thing was made up of a couple of pairs of jonos old y-fronts.
