chunky workboat

Caught sight of this for sale at a dealers on the way to the Bay.
Aluminium Hulled and built "tough" by the look of it.(Couldnt get a decent shot of the stern ,as it was behind a fence.)
Then in the Bay, the Lady J. And if a RIB on top wasn't enough for you, then why not carry your sport fish boat "piggy backed"
Was recently up for sale for a mere $3.9 million
Oh and then training to set sail on the "Surprise"; ready for sea later this month. Those guys are nuts! (In a respectful manner)!!
cheers Dal

Cool postcard from California Dal!

This time of year, thoughts certainly turn to Cabin RIBs.

(Memories of a blast to Elie in perfect comfort!)

Funny you should say that cos on Wednesday we did a wee cruise of the Forth. Crossed to Largo, Elie, Crail, Isle of May, Bass Rock, Fidra and home. It was so warm in the sun, we had to open the windows.

Interestingly, the the Bass was still covered in Gannets. Many of them were not long out of their fluff. The summer has been so good they've likely had second broods. It's late in the year for the youngsters, I hope they survive when they go off to sea for the winter.

Cool post Jeff.

Sounds like a magical trip. (Looking forward to seeing those waters again before Christmas).
