My sentiments entirely, BRP said that the engine had been misused for fooks sake

P1 have been having a lot of problems with them falling off the race boats - they made a saddle out of different materials in an effort to help but it made it worse! They are going for machined billet next I believe!

They told Ian at LPB that mine is the first one they have seen it happened to and that they believe that the engine had been misused but being as it is hard to prove they will replace the saddle as a goodwill gesture. If it happens again they can have the whole engine back and I would go to court to fight my case.
As for the racing boats Cookee I'm sure there's a lot more power and torque pushing them boats so the stresses on the saddle mounts would be far greater than my meagre 60 hp, not that that should be an excuse though.

Sc100
Looking good - your latest piccy reminds me I do have a SC100 gauge in my shed - I think its a temp gauge albeit VDO badged - the bezel is slightly different but otherwise the same. I will dig it out later

Just read the thread from start to finish. Quality job at every stage.
What's the reason for the two hatches on the foredeck (not the anchor locker), is it purely for storage as they're in sealed bulkheads?

Yeah, there's a bulkhead in between and I didn't want to waste any potential storage space.
