How do you Gel Wash then I need to do a bit of tidying up on the transom and this looks to be just what I need to do...

Also called flow coat I believe. Key up area, then wipe with acetone. Mask off required parts, make up gel with catalyst and apply with a brush. Don't fanny about as it goes off pretty quick. Remove masking tape while gel is wet.

Yes, depends on the catalyst ratio too. I was given a small amount in jars to do a transom and the ratio was off a bit. It set in 15 minutes and melted the pots - c/w fumes and popping.
A tip for small quantities. Prep and mark up the work. Spilt the material in two lots and mix one. Go hell for leather on one side, aiming to do half the job. If you don't quite make it, you know what you have to make up on the second shot
