Looking really good.

Not sure that I dare ask this - but I have to find out - why did you cut the hole for the anchor locker hatch after you had glassed in the plywood and flowcoated it ?

Makes sense thanks - I was worried that it seemed much harder to build that way!

Where did you get the carbon sheet? And how thick are you using?

I want to do the same on my console this winter, the only suppliers I can find seem to want an arm and leg.

I was fortunate enough to be given the carbon and then I gave the laminator a drink to lay it up for me. It's about 5mm thick.

How much do you need?

It's a double width console, so 950 mm x 400 mm to cover it.

If you know anywhere let me know
thanks

Thanks, I think the Carbon dash look is great but the prices I've seen for a 1000mm x 500mm even for 2mm thick were coming in at £100 including delivery.
I'd like to get something a little thicker than 2mm so I can bond it to the existing console and know it's adding significantly to it's strength.

I did see a new post today on here showing pictures of some amazing Carbon Dashboards, dread to think what a bespoke piece would cost

When you get to cutting out the holes on yours make sure you post pics and any tips for cutting
