Won't fit a supercharger in a canam or spyder.
The world products link in my earlier post is to a 7.4l small block.
Big blocks are far to big, and heavy.

I HATE yank cars but their engines are great!!!

matt you said the spyder had been designed around a V6 renault and transaxle hence poor driveshaft angles with other setups - is that still the case with the CanAM or has it been redesigned???

Believe it's still the case - the chassis is pretty much unchanged.
The issue is, I think, clearance to the front bulkhead, and how low you can mount the engine, (primarily sump clearance). Having said that, it's obviously not really a problem, but certainly something that would hinder the fitting of a longer engine as the angles would only get worse.
BMW V12 is also a good option - almost exactly the same length as a SBC

Not as disappointed as I am I can assure you - haven't done my VHF yet but about to do PBL2.
