Cowes as new cruiseline destination

I see Cowes is on the list of hot stop-overs for Italian cruise liners!

Yes the liner was moored just off Cowes at Prince Consort Cardinal all day today and they were ferrying everyone over in large rubber inflatables to the landing where they set up a passport tent !!

Yes and the local chandlers, hopefully they sent some crew ashore to shop for a tin of yellow paint and one of black to sort out the Prince Consort bouy they twatted when the tide turned.

OOPS! Thinking about it their stern port side was very close to the cardinal. Guess if they swung on their anchor they could have shifted the cardinal??

Cowes is popular again

Sat outside Cowes today was another liner, quite small but believe of German origin and again the passport tent on the landing pontoon.
