Was a really fantastic trip. Many thanks to Andre for providing the boat and making it happen. Also thanks to Malthouse for running us ashore in Alderney.

Weather on the way over was pretty rough but smooth on the way home. The parker handled it very well though; I wouldn't have wanted to be in anything smaller. She is pretty economical as well which really surprised me - we were burning about 70 litres an hour (between both engines) cruising at 30 knots which for a 14 seater 9m boat I reckon is pretty good And thats not all!

I was moored along side you when you came back to your boat in Guernsey; sorry about that. I had come up from Jersey for half an hour (horrible mogul sea, wretched trip) and couldn't be bothered to tie up to the waiting pontoon and get the dinghy out. By the way, was that you I saw near Brecqhou later on? It may have been a Guernsey seafari boat, I wasn't sure. Anyway, I hope you had a nice journey back. Come down to Jersey next time, petrol's cheaper than in Guernsey if nothing else.

Hi Martin

It seems you were not reading the cruising section cos that is where I posted the first info about the trip. Any as you say it is a shame cos would have been nice to meet up with you again.
Perhaps Jersey will be next although we are thinking of Cherbourg.

No worried. we did our best to move your rib to the deeper end of the pontoon.
Yes that was us and we did see you and even waved
