How long have Variable deadrise hulls been about then? I'd always thought that this was a fairly new tech to RIBs (15 years).....But I've been known to get it wrong before

Don't want to steal Jonos thread too much and I do think the Deltas are great hulls, but do need the right engine like a single 2 stroke, not twins as Rogue had which held the stern down badly.

Anyway back to variable deadrise hulls. Osprey were certainly making their commerical Falcon range in the early 90s. Sizes were 5.4m, 6.4m and 8m plus a few in between. The Falcon range was developed from a series of moulds that were bought from the speedboat manufacturer Fletcher, certainly ribs were being built in the late 80s with variable deadrise hulls by Osprey.

Now in a minute there will be a huge "kaching" as every viper owner realises that since the range was developed from the commerical Falcon ribs then the Viper parentage also goes back to ....................

Looks good!

Looks like a fantastic job and in the not to distant future I hope to add a similar post as I am also in the middle of a Delta refurb.

Can I ask how do you find the 90hp on it?

Cheers
