We were out with 'Wild at Heart' on Saturday between Grassholm - Ramsey and found company with a pod of around 20 dolphins. They hung around with us for around half an hour, swimming right alongside the boat, virtually within touching distance. My pal took this photo and he's also got some vid, which I'll post a link to, once he uploads it onto Youtube.

Hopefully 'Wild at Heart' will also post some pics.

I love it when we get them , I'm always amazed at how they have no fear of the boat. This year I thought one was going to land in the boat .. as it dived out of the water amid ships coming towards us, (we were static) ... miscalculated how fast it was going and had to bend its self very tightly to get back in the water just under the starboard tube !! ..

Dont know if anyone else has noticed but .. when they go under the boat, usually they turn on their side, and eyeball you on the way under

Fantastic stuff

I've seen them a few times from the isle of man ferry and once very briefly on my RIB. Hope to get up close like you did DHD.
