Drivers Wharf Poker Run
A few photo's of an excellent event, with an excellent turnout from both BIBOA, and Boatmad.com. Good to see some members from Ribnet as well.
The winning hand was held by cookee with 3 of a kind, second went to simon, a hardboater with 2 pair.
An excellent day on the water, with you ribsters giving us hardboaters a good run for the money.

What a hoot ! Enjoyed it hugely. Well done & thanks to all concerned.
Spontaneity, wit and repartee were abruptly curtailed in my interview with Mark Pascoe by my media advisors Stella, Flowers, Bass Inc who insisted that I did not speak to the public in a bid to ensure that I got a fair trial when my case comes to Court.
Otherwise, the interview may have gone something like this :-
Mark Pascoe : Why do they call you Whiteshoes ?
Whiteshoes : Because they used to match a Gucci handbag that I once owned.
M P : No really, why do they call you Whiteshoes ?
W : Because I prefer it to BrownPants.
M P : Why did you call your boat Caprisante ?
W : Mind your own f*cking business
M P : OK you haven't won, go sit down, tosser
All the the Best
Brian
.................................................. .................................................. .....
p.s. Blocked the bog in our room at the Star Hotel, and in a vain attempt to flush it through, 4 towels proved insufficient to prevent the foul water from contaminating the bedroom carpet and I suspect, cascading into the room below... Fortunately Douggie paid for the room with HIS credit card.
p.p.s. Our flare keg bounced out of it's basket and over the wall in the leg from Alum Chine to the Folly, so if any of the slower (hard!) boats picked it up, a speedy return to it's rightful owner would be appreciated.

I wouldn't have thought that was ever a problem... You're far too tall for anyone to risk calling you brownpants!
It was great to meet a few more RIBnet-ers, just sorry I couldn't get out on the water during the day. Oh well, crashing the party with all that free nosh was some compensation. Cheers all, see you out there next time.
Hey, went to say "hello" to Mr Fuller, who looked a bit nervous and disappeared quickly!

Sharrap and go and fix the steering on that moody Scorpian so's you can come out and play with the boys.
And I'd have thought Whiteshoes should be renamed Brownknob cos he'd split his troosers on Saturday and did the poker run with his willy hanging out and getting it nicely tanned..
