Isn't it staggering how these waves can break in exactly the same place on what appears to be the same ship in completely different locations and also in completely different years

I just got an email from a friend with all the same pics saying it was Lake Superior. Although the photos do have that 87' feel to them.

"These photographs were taken last month (Dec 2006) aboard
Misener Steamships MV Selkirk Settler as she transitted Lake Superior
in typical November weather"

Whether it was Superior or the Atlantic it doesn't look like a nice day for a walk on the deck! If I was on that boat I would be wondering in the back of my mind how well the hatches are dogged down. You sure wouldn't want to have to go forward to attend to any unsecured equipment.

Theres a very slim possibility that I may be wrong, but on the far right of the last picture about a third of the way from the top i'm almost certain I can see one of these, what a brave lad, or lass!!!!
