sorted all the bits to upgrade the trailer, cost about 680.00 but for that i get 1500kg capacity a far better tow bar/jockey wheel and above all it will be legal!!! i am going to do the work myself a soon as the new axle arrives i will post some pics.
got all the bits and a lot of help and advice from Parrymore Trailers in Staines Mddsex. very nice crowd and they make some nice trailers at very fair prices too.

Chris,

Just realised... you're a few miles down the road from me.

Where will you be using your RIB... will you head east or south?

Hi Richard,
South mainly to dorset coast, but going to scotland (Just north of Loch Ness) for summer hols. I cant do much until i fix up the trailer but i did take it up the thames. trouble is 4-5 knots on tickover was a trifle frustrating to say the least.
where do you tend to launch?

Chris

Keith, you must have a web spider set up to look for "Orkney Expedition" - I might have to insert that text in future postings to see what happens

I agree. I take my Rapide in there every year for a service. Always very helpful!
