Gavin
I have a FALCON 700 RSR my slef and have ordered a racing version too for 2003 to have it in the UK (the other boat is for the family and is in Greece).
I bought the boat last year and done about 60 hours on it during the summer holidays (one month) hoping from island to island in Greece.
We encountered varied weather from sea as flat as a mirror to forse 7.
You are right the seats are a bit back but the boat is built and is ballanced in such a way that whet ever happens it will rearely flip over.
Certaily in this race both of the Falcons never turned over.
I had a few SIBs and RIBs in my life time including Zodiac 3.3, Silinger 3.8, Bombard 3.5, Maestral 5.5, Joker Boat 6, Gemini 5 etc and finally the Falcon.
I believe that out of all this is the best boat I had.
Falcon's build good fast, safe, seaworthy boats

Phil
I think is good to support a worth while team.
These are good, no I should say EXCELLENT MADE BOATS and I am proud to own one and lucky enough to afford to have another one made.
The price is affordable too so I think it will be nice if a few RIBsters started bying then so that we could have a Falcon Race (sometime in the future, who knows) in the UK.

Yes it will be staying in the UK. It also be in Plymouth if you want a ride in it. Regretfully will not be able to make it on the Brass Monkey race. Too cold any way - Brass Monkey .

What I do not understand is what is the relevance where my other Falcon is?? If you have seen previous posts you would know by now that the boat is in Greece any way. So why the question??

Actually, I hadn't read that anywhere on the forum! but you did post somewhere that you had towed your boat boat back and forth between here and greece, and made it sound like a regular occurance, my confusion is why you've bought a second boat if you only intend to race it twice!, but if the older one stays in greece it makes a little more sense now

For the last 8 years or more I have been towing boats from the UK to Greece in the summer. Either on behalf of friends or (as I did last summer) my boat.
The summer 2003 I was planning (if there were other people from this Forum interested to join in a convoy) to take the F2 RIB to Greece race it once and get it back to the UK just in time for the Cows/Torquay race. However, this doesn't seem likely though.
So the new RIB stays in the UK and will race once or 2ice. Then it will just be a boat to have at home fiddle with it during the winter months and play with it when the weather permits.
The current Falcon I have is not rigged for as an F2 RIB and is not a racing RIB either although it performs like one. This is just a recreational boat for the family to enjoy.
