Finally on the water
We took my boat to Akureyri, north of Iceland where we had small boat show over the weekend and what a great time as I finally got to play around although did not manage to go WOT as still running in.

I have as can be seen above, not yet on WOT though, Ingi Björn my youngest one was allowed to drive her 50 MPH max on Sunday with his uncle beside (was his first time on boat)
I ran her 64 MPH and still have over 2000 RPM to WOT

We where driving back south (to Reykjavik) middle of night (pictures taken just after 2 AM) across three mountain roads in high density fog, so after the first one I decide to light up the nav lights and top light.
Our motorway (M1) is like your A road one line each direction.

Engine was bought last year so 300 was not available, am however thinking of having the 300 ECM, but question how much that will help as 300 has different gear ratio.

I had same hull years ago (Shetland 1900 SS) with Mercury 200EFI and after last weekend the boat is a lot more fun with the Verado, especially when the supercharger came in.... gave an extreme kick...

I am sure it will be a very good RIB hull
Verado is a piece of kit and worth every penny as play machine

he was using his wallet as ballast up the front but as you can see it is a little light at the front now as he just paid his first fuel bill!

Maybe a stupid question but...
275 verado has 1,85:1
300 verado has 1,75:1
Can´t you just change prop?
I don´t understund this...

Have at the moment Trophy prop 14X21, also got Bravo I 26 pitch, then several Laser II props, will soon try Vensure prop.
The 300 ECM is not yet available in Europe.
