Glad he's okay, I believe that the Gazelle car park is flooded but not sure about the pub.

One of the best videos on the storm - heart stopping - such a close call. They probably deserve a real boll***ing for taking such a risk.

If that "thing" had toppled, no-one was getting saved, lifejacket or not.

Here's one I took yesterday - the water board came down (manager in just a fleece!) with one of his team, the council are meant to keep the drain clear of sand that is pushed up there every time there's a storm, they obviously can't be arsed on a Sunday and it was putting the sewerage pumping station at risk, it pump sewerage from Salcombe and South Sands up to the treatment place at Malborough at 6 bar, if that fails it would be a bit messy! - Honey enjoyed her swim though!

Not mine, but one of the best shots I've seen. It's in Lahinch, on the west coast of Ireland, and was taken by George Karbus

I think that house has a high wall which sometimes makes it look under water.
Furthermore I think they have ground floor shutters making it watertight.

Not heard that they've been flooded. Think they're ok. They were at NY for sure.
