Yep, like Cookee, I would be very interested to see some of your African excitement. Particularly, any of the technical stuff relating to your boat.

Happy New Year

Hi Pieter and Happy New Year!!

GREAT NEWS!!! for even GREATER BOATS!! Didin't expect anything else really.

Post some photos PLEASE!!

By the way, who is covering the race this year? As far as I know X-treme are not involved.

PS If it was me JW would not post any tech staff on the boat. That should be confidential!!

It would certainly be interest to have report from pieter at Falcon on the race. Maybe they didn´t complete the race at all and keep silent therefore.

hi all

Apologies for my absense, as I was following the trans agulhas race. For those interested, Falcon's F2 700RSR has won the event overall in the RIB class, beating 4 x F1 entries and 1 x Open class entry also. Final time for the 1000km race was 8 hours 47 minutes. I will be posting final results in the next day or two, alternatively provide your e-mail address for a full press release.

I make that 70.58 mph average over 620 statute miles! which is very fast!!!
What is the flat out speed of this miracle, and what motor/prop are you using?

70.58 miles * 1.6093 km = 113.584km

or

113.584 km / 1.853 km = 61.29 knots!
