I am posting this again so you can see the after and before. This where the RIB goes streight on the man with the blue shorts. The blonde with the child shy away
The photo above shows the RIB ON TOP of the man with the blue shorts (serves him right he is a smoker LOLOL ). The blond with the child are standing up now,

Imagine what the Yanks would make of that practice, what with their "I'll sue your arse off" attitude!

Hey JF, maybe that's how you do longitudinal sanding!
They're nuts.

to be fair to manos, if they can do that to them repeatedly then they cant be too badly built.

The boat seems to be in exactly the same position on each photo.
Shadows are in the same place and the rope/tape is in the same point along the hull.
Is it time for me to get spec's?

ooh, i think Ian/sherlock has found something.
Im guessing one is after the guy in the blue shorts has wriggled out from under the boat, and the other just as they run him over.

Wouldn't it disturb you if someone chose to slide under a beached boat?
My powers of deduction lead me to deduce that it may have been a set up.

It would have to say Ian. But is the look at the fases of all these people. Have another look.
It may be a set up though and if it is is a bloody good one

Do you know ribnet really is a fabulous site and I never seem to stop learning something new each day. Look it would seem you can even bump start a rib, that should do away with bits of string and jump leads

You'd never be allowed to race like that in sensible parts of the world.

I think Simmon that is not the race.
In the proper race they do have life jackets.
They just bump start the boat there. Not going anywhere
You will see that they have life jackets on in the photos if you go back a few pages
ITS HERE
