Talk about every day’s a school day! I had to look North Rona up, never heard of it. There’s another interesting lump to the south west of NR too. I can feel an expedition coming on[emoji6][emoji106]

Currently on North Rona. WX is calm and sunny, some heavy fog in banks.

Are you sure you are on North Rona Willk ?.. I would guess its approx 100 miles away to the north of South Rona. Your photo look suspiciously like the Laird on Rona’s boat and JCBs on South Rona off Skye. ?
The previous photo of the nice bay looks very like Mellon Udrigle and its lovely campsite. I stay there sometimes so hope Im not lost .
Weather is still looking great for next week..Im hoping to hit the high seas then too

Must be to the north of Rona, not North Rona.
Google doesn't lie!

Easy mistake.....just 100nm further north and your there. (that'll be another three million litres of fuel)

Pictures look fantastic. Will be in Stornoway (courtesy of Cal Mac) in 2 weeks, then heading west. Best fishing in the world, and probably see minke and basking shark if weather stays hot and sunny. Enjoy the rest of your tour willk.

I know where it is, we had a notion of a flyby on our way to Stromness. The fuel penalty was fairly minor coming from Stornoway. Sadly the WX didn't play ball. Them's the breaks!
