Just thought I'd share some pictures of our trip out of Bradwell Marina in Essex from the weekend.
It's tight leaving Bradwell Marina at low tide but we made it following the willows and red cans.....but more importantly a yacht so they did the channel forging for us!!!
We didn't go that far at all and literally pottered over to West Mersea for a bite to eat and then headed back with the kids being a limiting factor. The public pontoon at West Mersea was pretty good but full of kids crabbing so fairly good from a security POV. I didn't see anything about charging. We ate at the Coast Inn which was very busy but served us quickly with good food.
As we left the pontoon we saw a seal ..... eating bacon, clearly from a crab line but it did seem to be enjoying it with a cheeky smile on his face!!
On the way out of West Mersea we saw Essex plod keeping an eye on a good natured anti nuclear protest on the beach. They looked miserable having had their twin 225hp EFIs on an Arctic down graded to 200hp Verados!
Enjoy
