It´s my friends boat.
In rough water (the boat is new for him seens last week)... Weight ratio is very good, very good reputation on fountain 42 hull, and as you can see on the pic engines close to each other, around 5 tons. Topspeed is little over 75 knots and a march speed at 60-65 is no problem.
Must be a nice boat in rough?
What´s the link for Around Britain race?

It's going to be a great event. Last time it was run was 1984 I think. Quite a few RIBs taking part and some big impressive hard boats. The Fountain will be in good company.
Entrance fees are pretty high - about £10,000 for the bigger boats - ouch!!!
Fabio Buzzi is taking part - he won it last time..........

I think you'll find it won't be a problem to enter - the organiser visits Boatmad on a regular basis and there is a forum and a website as well - http://roundbritainrace.co.uk/phpBB2/index.php http://roundbritainrace.co.uk/ The entry fee is now £10 per horsepower and although the entrants have almost unanimously agreed to the increase in entry fee, there is bound to be a little fall out of numbers! PM or email if there is anything else you want to know.
