I've seen it like that at Bursledon at Alladins Cave last November. And it was well in to the car park at Warsash today.
The water seems so innocuous when its on a gentle tide like today. Still knackers your car though.

Was that the carpark in front of the pub or the one where you park the trailer? (can't remember if that's lower than the pub carpark)

The one in front of the pub. Didn't see the water today in the car park because I was out at high tide but on my return certainly saw the line of seaweed at the end of the first set of car parking spaces.

I was speaking to the Harbour Master and he said it was even worse two weeks ago. Strange that wasn't on the news !
