Ifos 2005

Well we had a good day in Portsmouth today and took the Solent Cat just before 2PM in time to watch the spectacular military displays. We had most probably one of the the best views of the display.

Just as we left Gunwhalf Quays I recognised "Merlin" coming across from the Ballast. You just cannot miss that rib. I waved and Martyn who was crewing for Paul waved back but I don't think he had any idea it was me

Tall Ships at IFOS

To see so many Tall Ships in one place is just great. These ships just take your breath away.

I known these are not ribs but one has to be a bit sentimental from time to time
There are a few ribs coming along and perhaps someone may just recognise himself on one of them

Sorry we missed you Andre!

They were just coming over to Old Pompey to collect me and the BBQ grub!
And in a bit of a rush before the Harbour closed.

Lovely photos...nice to see what we missed!
