With entrants from ISLE OF MANN, IRELAND ,NORTHERN IRELAND ,NORWAY AND THE FARO ISLANDS,an event not to be missed approx 53 ribs and 2 zap cats and a couple of speed boats made the trip from Bangor to Donnaghadee and over to Scotland to Portpatrick, you could not fault the organisation of this event by Killer Events, Marquee, Barbeques, raffle ,cruises, teeshirts and caps, burgees,an Rnli display , Zapcat racing, presentations and fantastic hospatility with a big emphasis on safety. We recieved a huge welcome and Killer Events even had a bar going in the Marquee for the event, free berthing in Bangor Marina and secure trailer parking. As the event progressed it became evident just how much effort and planning had gone into this event , This is the first time it has been ran from Bangor marina, and will now become an annual event.A huge thankyou has to be said to Gail, Marty,Michael, Peter,Jill,Nickey,Fiona,Alastir,Don,Francis the RNLI in Bangor, Donnadee, Port Patrick, Bangor Marina, Pier 36, the Waterfront in Portpatrick, Soltron , First Port in Bangor, BJ Marine and of course Killer Events. An event like this is made possible by the sponsors and all the event helpers, RNLI collectors and contributors of prizes to the Rib Raid .There is capacity for this event to become annual and grow in size as an annual event , Killer events organised a BBC camera crew to come along with us and it may be featured in their documentary a Month of Sundays Gavin
