Jersey to Avranches - Saturday 10 March

I went to Avranches on the high tide last week; it was my fourth visit. My cousin came with me and shot this video. It's a bit long but it has some nice footage of the river, bridge and incoming tidal bore. Anyway, the trip went more or less to plan with only one or two mistakes. At least we didn't run aground in the fields like last time.

As ever, you make it look so easy. I can understand where the tidal bore comes from now, having experienced the speed of the rising tide first hand. Looks like you had a really good sea state for the crossing too.

Nice video... thankfully without the obligatory Miami Vice soundtrack.

Very nice Paul, Spring is here and it's time for some serious boating.
