Hi Watchem, Heading out door to pick upsome kids so quick response for the moment, but shruch na mile means " Eddies or curents of the thousand".
My Father is from Rosss Point Co Sligo and told me all the stories of his growing up, nearly losing his sister xcpet for a wave washing her inboard the rowing boat, to tranquil evenings of no wind where my Grandfather would drift out (in 9 kts current) out to sea to fish at the height of an ebb tide, in the evening only to drift back in due course with the incoming tide a few hours later, "Heady Stuff" if not Heavy Stuff,
The incoming tide would rush past Coney and Oyster Island to fill up the bay.
I shall try to add map etc soon, Rosses Point, CO. Sligo, Ireland
