No, I'd imagine (but trying not to) that his zip is probably Rear Entry. That suit Brutus has is top spec Scowegian diving kit. I'd like one

Dear Willk, thanks for the welcome.
Diving. I would gear up nevertheless on days that I didn’t; as surface water temperature approximated 7C and at depth it dropped to around 4C.

Dear Kerny
The equipment is a Viking/Combat

Now now, tony t, you've got to admit that was just the right pic to help us envisage how you might look in your New Black Shadow dry-suit. That's all that was meant honest!!!

Cool.

I wonder how long before Pic 4 results in one of the McRibbers posting a pic of a half empty bottle of Laphroig at the top of Loch Sunart?

(or some other random combo of Malt & Loch)

or one of our Welsh crew and a bottle of Penderyn ......

Dear 9D280,
It appears you just upped the ante… my next post may have to be of two empty bottles of Kentucky’s finest (Booker’s) with some sort of Fjord in the background.

Kindest regards,
Brutus

Further away from home.
y’all enjoy the footage.

Patagonia Lake Reconnaissance part 01 on Vimeo

This raw footage is meant to be visually informative, certainly not generated for entertainment purposes. Depending on a variety of factors, this may be the first of several installments of unadulterated material depicting the Patagonian wilderness from aboard my RHIB.

Context: This particular region of Patagonia is notorious for horrid weather. No more than 9 days per year does fair weather calm the surface of the numerous bodies of water littered throughout the region. This was one of those rare days.

I forgot to mention, two new add-ons I installed were the Keelguard (seen underwater towards the end of this short fragment) and a water fuel separator. Both exceeded my expectations in terms of how useful the proved to be. Next will be an automated bilge pump.

The footage is recent by the way, as in 2012

I’m glad you liked them.

Regarding Welsh colonies, I’ve come across a handful in places you would never even think of; as in far removed from any main roads. Let me tell you, if you ever do visit, know that the most gorgeous colonies are far removed from Trelew and quite isolated. I happened to chance across them ‘cause I was criss-crossing the entire region via dirt-bike a’la Baja.

-Take care

Here is a bit more of relatively raw footage; I’ve added some audio to replace the drone of the engine- perhaps easier on the eyes this way.

Patagonia Lake Reconnaissance part 02 on Vimeo

Enjoy
