Gobshite Eille

Hi guys

A few pics of Gobshite Eille on one of our recent outings.

Note how the addition of the canopy carries the beam slightly forward. This configuration gives unbelievable performance in a following sea and combined with the structural support given to the tubes by the cockpit makes them , imho, almost impossible to stuff.

what engine and what prop - my 585 with my Suzuki DF140 only does 41.3 knots max with a 21" stainless.

youll need to take that spare wheel off the trailer - it will keep grounding as you go over the angle as you reverse down slipways. - well mine did anyway - but then I'm towing with a normal saloon car.

heres a pic of mine in almost the same spot

Yamaha F150 - standard ali prop - not sure what pitch haven't looked yet. Going to run it in then sort out an SS from Ribcraft. I have to say at 45 she was pretty light on the water - not sure I want to go much faster.

You must have a 23" prop by my calculations.

Will you be out on the water in the solent over RIBEX at all - If so we should meet up - I can sort you out the couple of Pints I owe you

Daniel, that is a real nice looking bumblebee take two!

There needs to be another solent cruise organised soon, its been a bit quiet down here recently!

Yarmouth's looking a bit different now, they have put a load of pontoons in.

Well we have converted to the dark side and bought a hard boat.

Bit of work to do on her, but hope to be out for the first bank holiday in May.

Looking forward to some more cruises this year.
