I've reviwed each........

...........and every one of the above attached photos and must say, I'm, terribly impressed. Wouldn't it be fabulous to have one massive cruise. Could it be organised - No, no way, even with the best of intention. Anyway, great photos. I'm sure there's a business opportunity here, I just need to come up with it.........mmmmmmmm.......

I totally agree MeMe, It would be great to organise a massive get together and cruise. Who would organise it? Louise seems to have plenty of time on her hands.

Hi Wayne,

It would be my pleasure - a mass meeting of as many RIBnetters as poss would be great. Imagine the photo opportunities!!! I'll put some ideas together (maybe for Spring?). Looking forward to it!

There are plenty of people who haven't posted piccies yet! Come on...shake a leg!

Maybe include a bit of info too. History, good/bad customer service, good points, bad points limitations etc etc

Me Flatacraft: small, fast and lively but wetter than the sea itself . I have a 1987 electric start Yamaha 25hp on the back which runs like a dream (considering the age!) and hardly ever misses a beat. I've done a few improvements on it including mounting fuel tanks under the rear seats (it has 4 back to back seats) and providing locker space under the front seats. I have also mounted a net under the front canopy to hold bags to keep em dry.

She is soon to be replace with a bigger project boat, details soon!

Cheers

Tim

Well done Louise,I knew we could count on you. It's still on for the 18th. I'm going to post a thread later to see if we can get a few more for it. We should be able to get a Roast down at Woolverstone Marina on the way back just to finish the day off.

Humber 6.3 Ocean Pro / 200 Mariner Optimax - Still no name - any suggestions?

The first 3 were taken before her maiden voyage earlier this year.
The 4th at full bore acouple of weeks later after running in.
The 5th taken at Lymington quay late this summer after I fitted the A-frame, lights and electronics.

Fantastic boat, pretty quick and loves the rough.
I have had a few minor problems including the welds on the back seat back rests breaking after a trip to the Isle of Wight in some less than desirable weather (these were eventually replaced by Humber with some heavier duty ones.)
The elephant trunk decided to split due to water pressure - replaced as well.

On the whole though very pleased.

Reasonable economy is attainable as long as I keep to 30 or 35 knots. As soon as I get into the mid to high 40's it DRINKS it!!!

Regards
Nick

OK, so the piccies didn't appear in the order I expected. Pretty easy to work out which is which though.

and my current boat, a 585 Ribtec with a 135 Optimax again.

It is happy at 43kts in most weather and nowhere near as uncomfortable as the humber was.

And finally my first one! ADelta 6.75 which was a bit of a dog but totaly at home in any sea. I've yet to go on a boat which felt as safe or rode as nice in waves.

mine are a bit tame!!

but they're all I've got so far. I've been too busy getting to know the boat!
One was taken when I went to see the boat, and the other when we picked it
up (pictures considerably doctored to fit)

ADS - are you still up for this? If you can get yourself to Reading we could take you over to Levington (or wherever Wayne wants to launch from...).

Nice looking RIB Nick and bet it flys with that 200 on the back! Tell me.......Are those sculpted seats as uncomfortable as everyone says they are?

Thanks Hightower.
Re. the seat, I find it OK - you can wedge yourself in quite nicely but it could always do with a bit more padding in the bigger stuff.
