yea, we bought it in southampton last year and did around 200 hrs this year. we have bought the stormforce so the delta needs to go. i had just spent loads of money getting the tubes done up and the transom. the boat is in stunning condition and i will be sad to see it go

A few photos of me and my boat. Not big but big enough to get three of us out around Skomer yesterday where we went through Jack Sound and saw some dolphins followed by a few hours knee boarding upstrean of Neyland. A great day that justified the decision not to winterise.

Woot,
Your assault looks very nice in those colours, What size is it & is that a Bramber trailer you have it on?
It looks smaller than our 5.5M so hopefully you wont have the same problems as we are having, but keep a close eye on those wobble rollers so far we have had to have 3 new sets & we now have numerous marks in the hull where they have snapped & left the boat sitting on metal bars.

What colour is that? Is it the one classified as "alpin blue"???

Codprawn- Yes it is indeed what is known by Humber as "Alpin" blue.
Jackwabbit - It's a 5m and yes it is a Bramber trailer. I haven't towed much distance with it but have had no problems except one lost bolt on the nose cradle which was easily replaced without incident. In fairness its my first boat/trailer so I don't have much to compare it too but its very very easy to launch and recover. I spent years diving from Ribs and seemed to spend all my time either looking at a broken ropey two stroke motor or a crocked trailer. I vowed I would never own my own until I could have a new 4 stroke and an unbraked trailer. I'm very pleased with the combo I bought but I will admit to constant thoughts of something bigger. At the moment reading other peoples woes with braked trailers, large fuel bills etc is keeping the money in my pocket.

Oh my god - I have ordered my tubes in Alpin Blue - didn't realise it was so LOUD - makes the dayglo one in the background look dull - is it really that loud in real life or just in your piccies????

Still won't be missed on a dull day I suppose!!!!

Its not that loud honest. The piccie on the left does look a little bright it was a dim winters day and the flash has taken over I think. I also think the size of the tubes compared to the rest of the boat makes the tubes the main focus. One of Humbers brochures has a much larger RIB with the same colour tubes and that looked really good. I have also seen a 6m dive club boat in the same colours, again all looked fine. Beleive me the last thing I would want is a boat that looked like Graham Nortons sofa, it wouldn't do when I met my rufty tufty diver mates at sea, nobodys poked fun at me yet anyway ( cue the onslaught)
