it is a long climb at low water on a 10m spring tide. We are not using a rib on these jobs any more but wheels would have helped last week under the cat

Buzzi FB40

As some of you may know I took part in RB2008 aboard what I think is the best boat in the world a Buzzi FB40 with twin SeaTek 750hp diesels joined to TriMax surface drives.

At the hands of the Andy M , Andy S and Nick it is a very very fast ride and at no time over 2000(ish) miles did I get wet from spray or anything near. It sure lands hard but loves the rough cus there is no need to slow down.

On our way back from Portsmouth I hand-held my Canon G9 in video mode and took the following film. Although IT is my thing I've only just manged to get the video onto YouTube

You need to wait 30 secs for the fun to begin.

This is a wake and a half and brings a smile to me as I have it on all my PC's and my BB Storm.

Regards

Mark

Going from Mull to the mainland after diving the Meldon in Loch Buie. we were also in Loch Feochan this afternoon and were pulling 3000rpm to stay still watching this channel mark, current must have been doing 10 knots or more...........

I'm gonna guess at a couple of oil injection 30s or 40s. On a 5.4, twin 30 / 40 is not inconceivable and they're bulky, but not as big when you compare them to the steering cable & the toob. Also look at the pic of Kev's 5.4 on the searider pics thread, it;s about similar proportions.....

...I'll go take my anorak off now.......
