A not so good day boating.

You cant really tell in this pic but we are now on the inside of a 4-6 reef break. The boat behind me did not fare so well in its attempt to get out.

Leaving Fort Augustus

This was taken a few years ago when we were reccieing Loch Ness for the long distance cat race. Spent a little too long in the pub at FA and it was almost pitch black when we got back to Dores about 20 miles up the Loch (no GPS, lights etc.) - used the lights of the Inn and Dores to navigate near the end. Not another sole on the water the whole way. Saw some pretty weird looking effects on the water as the light dimmed. Very spooky.

OK, someone must now have lost a bet!

2 years 4 months since it blew up. That;s why right now it;s the best wake shot ever! Photo taken at approx 4.5 knots water speed, 1.3 knots over the land. Possibly the slowest trip I've ever made in a RIB! The really amazing thing is you can see the bridge through the 25:1 smoke screen!
