Just over 85 knots on a slightly too flat sea. With a nice swell this stays airborne for over 100 ft easily......and so does the crew. Not unlike a black run for the thighs.

'twas indeed.......and what a gas those Hustlers are. A couple, actually three, friends were hooking up a deal with the RedBull air race lot as a support event when the CAA got involved on safety grounds.
I was in charge of "visual assets". It was then that I really appreciated what Pete Dredge was capable of whist helming and throttling at full tilt with other people's sponsors and directors on board, (needless to say there was an extensive waiver form for them to sign), let alone hamming it up for pics.
