I'd better 'fess up sharpish though - I happened to bump into it on youtube, and grabbed a screenshot. I've never seen such a good picture of surface drives in action. I've crawled out over the back of a boat to have a look surface drive & got scared.

My boat would do the same thing. I just need 1850 hp more on one drive and a new second drive added with 2000 hp.

And a little trimming.

HMS Cardiff passing at about 30 knots, couple of Olympus gas turbines at full moo give a decent wake

Sadly I was on an RFA bumbling along at about half that.
