My old Tiguan, was a great tow car.
My A4, tows well for a 2wd, no problems so far on any slips.

My XS-545 with a load of opties on the way back from the worlds largest one class regatta, the Riva del Garda Easter Regatta! 1200 opties, seven of them on this picture.... 2000km drive one way Stockholm-Garda.

Well, I can only guess. It's around 20 opties and zoom's weighing around 50kg each incl covers and rigs and foils. Thats 1000kg. It's two 4,80 Ribcraft's with motor, 800kg maybe. So total load around 1800kg. The trailer is s double axle. I know that the VW van towing (I have the same car) can't tow more than 2500kg gross trailer weight so have to assume it isn't more than that.

That transporter is way over wieght, look at the back wheels. I run one on a daily basis commercialy and use it for towing, and no way would I fancy pulling that load that distance.
