If I told you what I'm looking for your sure to shout at me.

1. A freelander 5dr (small enough to be a step up from a golf and not to complicated with the vcu good enough pulling power for a Sib and great for mountain biking)

2. A petrol 1.8 ( somewhat for insurance purposes but also for LPG conversion)

3. Under 85k around 51,53 plate and under £2300

I'm not to bad when it comes to monkeying around with a spanner so when it needs a head gasket it will get done

And the electric windows breaking

And vcu

And rear diff

Haha

Get used to being shouted at if you own a Land Rover.

.....usually by people that are stuck and need a tow/lift

nowt to shout about there, Freelander is a good option if you don't need the complicated 4WD systems of other vehicles, not sure I would agree on the LPG conversions, always seem to just add to the problems on older motors, the V6 petrol was a nice motor I have a look round for you

many moons ago at one of the local landrover club open dats the local Mercedes dealer brought along 2 G Wagons to show everyone just how much better than a landrover they were, one of them got stuck in a muddy hole, so they sent the 2nd one in with all the diff locks etc locked up, when that got stuck my bog standard soft top S1 towed them both out of the boggy stuff much to the amusement of the onlookers, was a good laugh at the time although it took me a while to jet wash the Knowsley Safari Park mud off me S1

Indeed, and have to buy beers if you want conversation!

Looks lovely btw. Wouldn't mind a mosey. I like the quicksilver but they just look and feel so cheap inside.

I find as I get older and uglier that buying the drinks is the only way some sections of the population will talk to me!
