Hi Simon, I have now a 115HP evinrude E-tec (Long shaft) on it, which came from my previous boat. Therefore the transom cutout is so deep.
And yes, the focus is a legal tow. The set (boat, trailer, motor) is 1200 and that is exacly what the Focus is alowed to pull.

I did look at something slightly bigger but with the speed limit on Windermere, not sure what i would do.

We've had plenty of fun on this thing around the Pembrokeshire coast and Gower Penisula with plenty of fishing  Definitely easier than my kayak.....
