We were OK as unfortunately the racing did not happen on Saturday and we had our boat for Sunday. We did safety cver on the far legs and had a lot of fun in the choppy waters out by the weather station! Just had to stop myself from joining in the racing...

Cheers
Adam

Well you would say that being Bruce's son and all, but are there any REAL reports out there of the Prime stepped 6.5? ie: from somebody who has driven one. Just curious to see if a stepped hull can work at this length effectively and if it can why aren't other manufacturers doing the same?

Loyalty in worth having even in my son!!!! Seriously, to my surprise, Josh preferred the Prime to Farfetched. I thought he would love the 'first serious boat' we owned! He feels the definite crashes which you get with Farfetched from time to time were siginificantly softened in the Prime. In the Prime you can sit down on the jockeys in the rough - you could not do that with Farfetched if you ever wanted to father children again!!!! I would welcome comments from people who drove / went out in Prime - both positive and negative! It is my view the Prime is a bit slower, a bit twichier (slighlty shorter hull), but a softer ride.

Dag Pike says stepped hulls work only above 50k and are a drag below that. I think he may be right in all out speed, but in ride he seems wrong.
