apparently there is a formula on the Net which you can download at cost to calculate weights balance and speed which you may have to remind me, comes in at 44 kts Plus with a 19 pitch!!!

On my Humber with a 90cv Merc and a 21" ally prop, three up, 70L fuel + dive kit for 3 (without bottles) and flat calm conditions without any tide. We were just short of 39 knots. On my own I'm expecting to reach 45 knots.

There are not many ribs that get too far past the 45knt mark.

Very pleased with the set up,now just a matter of tweaking it a little,still not opened her right up or trimmed out for max,so with bigger prop should be interesting.
Not expecting too much of an increase,the main thing is cruiseing at 30nts the engine wont be screaming for mercey,and I dont RECKON threre will be 'too much' difference in fuel consumption.
Must say the guys at 'Race marine 'did a first rate job at a good price,and bunged in a nice few extras.Got the five year warranty too!
So come on Sticky!...... maybe after the Lundy trip eh?!
