Merlin and the Solent cont

Hi all

We were out with Merlin for a couple of days (9-10 of August), with the 11 reserved for looking around Chichester.

We launched on the Wednesday, which was a nice day and nobody was waiting at the slipway. In the afternoon I nipped up to Sparks to get some fuel, which with the FEDs going on it took a little longer than normal, but on hassle. However for the first time ever in nearly missed a dinghy which was sailing between the moored boats and seem to come out of nowhere, when I say missed it was 10 meters away but close enough if something had gone wrong.

Later in the afternoon we went to the Hamble and Cowes. The 4 pictures attached are

1) Hamble where we stopped for a quick drink (water)
2) Hamble entrance on the way to Cowes
3) Cowes looking towards the West
4) Home run to Northney

The next day we went to find Winner for the sake of it and mess around in the Harbour, before taking it out of the water. No problems with the boat, but I wish I had more time, I tend to find I run out of time, which I am sure a lot of people have the same problem,,, that reminds me I must put the lottery on.
