Love it - I'm a big fan of small RIBS like this ( now that I dont have a bigger one on your/my old mooring) .

Perfect for around there. Hope to about for the RNLI day if your about then ?

How have you found the engine on the RIBEYE ? They are not well known or loved as a result, but interested to hear about quality and refinement from a real user rather than just via rumours.

Pete

It's has performed faultlessly so far. I guess it is heavy as it is a four stroke but it will plane with me and my daughter in it and with her and her little Sis it zips along. Starts first time, sips petrol. Could do with rigging properly. Did it myself and it's functional but it could be fettled I'm sure to make steering a little lighter.

If my big zodiac ever comes back I will be there. Did fancy the Alderney trip but want to make sure it is all ok for a few shorter trips first.

Only blessing has been the weather has been so bad I haven't felt depressed about not having it. Having the little rib to potter about on helps.

That's just what I was looking for, ended up getting a Valiant 340 with Yam F20. Super engines. Especially with the PTT makes things a lot simpler for the young ones to operate.

Enjoy
