Yes there are over 850k people in here now and growing very fast. The digital natives of tomorrow ... our children will think nothing about existing in a virtual world .. so much more expressive than chat rooms.

Go try it ...

Sadly too many kiddies (& some adults too) are happier dwelling in a 2-D world already Andy.

But it does look like fun.

LOL That is exactly the phrase I used when listening to a story on R4 on Monday about Reuters who have actually appointed a news agency partner in Second Life!!! How f**king sad is that?

Sad f'n Life

Man,
What's the point of designing a boat if you can't get laid on it when it comes off the factory floor... Sad...

I am currently building stuff on an IBM Island ... it all looks mad but this is a real commercial world trading a lot of money each day!

http://www.regdeveloper.co.uk/2006/09/21/ibm_secret/

SunMicrosystems have just setup and island ... IBM has many, as do other big IT players. XMEN 3 was even premiered in secondlife ...

Get ya secondlife ribs here ... I will be selling some soon for real money, and the mad thing is people in there will buy them!!!
