In Clew Bay in the West of Ireland, 13th August 2009. On my return from a trip to Clare Island. If you go to sea, use a Redbay RIB.

I have seen that boat a few times in Newport It is a class Act as a local politian one said about his daughter. If ony we coul all afford redbay boats

I just thought the photo was quite good!!!!!!!!!! The boat is not that bad either. Us Redbay owner do have a certain smugness in the fact that our crafts do have a capability and quality that’s second to none achieved through a simple approach to doing it right.
And to the “ Irish Rib Thing” that’s the fact we have more fun, use less fuel, pay less and have more sea to play in, (albeit we do go a little slower) than you Tony.

When you live on a nice little island tucked up beside france, tax free, well i guess the price of your boat means not a lot.

North West coast of Ireland, there is a little pride in the the motion of the ocean and not the size of your boat. Now taking it that I'm impartial, owning a little 4m searider and 50 yam both aged well over 20 years old, i aint got either money, a redbay or for that matter much bling, but fair play to the redbay buyers for supporting 1 of only 2 rib manufacturers in Ireland. Local business is important, and feck it, the Redbay guys seem to put out a hell of a boat.

Now in a few years when i gather up enough money, i will be forced with a decision, house or rib :-) if i don't pick the house, the alternative will include a "MUST go to sea" option. And i'd love to do it in anything with a stormforce badge.

Besides, TCruise was not that great in mission impossible, apart from the bad title; disproven 3 times at this stage, not to mention countless tv shows. I'd have been considering something along the lines of indiana jones and the lost island in the english sea.

I really appreciate your loyalty to Ireland and Redbay do...make superb ribs. We have 3 moored quite close to me in the marina.
The point I was making is....there are other alternatives when you must go to sea.
I had a Scorpion before my Cougar and if I had said it was the best and nothing else is as good, I would have been lynched......for sure..
